Dr. Waldyr Muniz Neto

Dr. Waldyr Muniz, MD, is an Associate Staff Physician in the Integrated Hospital Care Institute at Cleveland Clinic Abu Dhabi. He specialises in patient‑centred anesthesia care, with expertise in ultrasound‑guided regional anesthesia and perioperative management.

Prior to this role, he worked as a Consultant Anesthesiologist in São Paulo, delivering anesthesia services across multiple surgical specialties, including robotic, neurosurgical, and plastic procedures. At Hospital Israelita Albert Einstein, he contributed to innovation and quality improvement through the New Technologies Committee.

Dr. Muniz focuses on enhancing patient safety through data‑driven care, clinical performance monitoring, and process improvement. He earned his medical degree from the Ribeirão Preto Medical School at the University of São Paulo and completed residency training in anesthesiology at its affiliated clinics hospital.
