Dr. Olfa Ben Hadj Khalifa Koobar is a French Consultant Neonatologist as well as Consultant Pediatrician at Dubai Healthcare City, Dubai. She holds an MD in Pediatrics and a subspecialty in Neonatology, with proven competency in pediatric patient care, medical knowledge, and practice‑based learning and improvement. French Board‑certified, she completed all her medical studies in France, earning her medical degree from Nice Sophia Antipolis University in 2009 and her Pediatrics specialty degree from Strasbourg University in 2013. She later pursued a Neonatology fellowship and obtained her DESC subspecialty degree in 2015. She has worked in France and the Middle East over the past several years, gaining expertise in managing extremely premature babies from 23 weeks of gestation.
Dr. Olfa is passionate about the care of extremely premature infants and very low birth weight newborns, breastfeeding support, and the implementation of developmental care, with a strong commitment to family‑centered practice. She follows her newborn patients from discharge through adolescence up to 18 years of age, providing guidance on nutrition and required vaccinations, and remains actively involved in general pediatric consultations. She is also a member of the French Neonatology Society.
