Dr. Weaam Ali is a Swedish board-certified Specialist in Family Medicine with over 15 years of clinical experience across Sweden and the UAE. She is licensed in both Sweden and Dubai and obtained her Swedish Board in Family Medicine in 2023 after comprehensive rotations in internal medicine, pediatrics, geriatrics, OB‑GYN, psychiatry, and emergency medicine. She holds an MBBS from MISR University of Science & Technology, Egypt, and completed her internship at Rashid Hospital in Dubai. Dr. Weaam also earned an Executive Master’s in Healthcare Administration from Zayed University, Abu Dhabi. She worked as a Family Medicine Specialist and Consultant in Uppsala County and multiple primary healthcare centers in Sweden. Her clinical expertise includes preventive care, women’s health, mental health, chronic disease management, obesity management, and acute and emergency care. She is skilled in minor surgical procedures such as skin lesion excision, wound suturing, nail avulsion and matrixectomy, and abscess drainage.

In addition, she is trained in aesthetic medicine, skin and hair treatments, and injectables, and has maintained a part‑time aesthetic practice in Stockholm since 2019. Dr. Weaam is certified in BLS and ACLS and is known for her patient‑centered, holistic approach to care. She is actively involved in mentoring medical students and supervising Family Medicine residents, contributing to education and professional development in her field.
