Dr. Inmaculada Cerecedo, MD, is a Consultant Allergist in the Allergy & Immunology Department at Cleveland Clinic Abu Dhabi’s Medical Specialty Institute. She previously served as an Allergy Consultant at Hospital Clínico San Carlos in Madrid, Spain. Dr. Cerecedo earned her medical degree from Universidad de Cantabria and completed her residency at Hospital Universitario Ramón y Cajal in Madrid, as well as at The Jaffe Food Allergy Institute, Icahn School of Medicine at Mount Sinai in New York.
She has extensive clinical expertise across the full spectrum of allergic and immunologic diseases, including food allergy, asthma, chronic urticaria, angioedema, atopic dermatitis, allergic rhinitis, anaphylaxis, and pediatric allergy. Her research background includes multiple international projects focused on food allergy particularly epitope mapping as a diagnostic and prognostic tool and studies on quality‑of‑life and socioeconomic impacts. Her current work centers on early preventive and therapeutic interventions for food allergies in infants and children, with the aim of improving long‑term outcomes for patients and their families.
