Dr. Ahmad is a highly experienced Consultant Paediatrician and Paediatric Emergency Medicine Specialist, with over 20 years of medical practice and 18 years of specialist experience. He qualified from the University of Cardiff, UK, holds MRCPCH, and completed his specialty training with Health Education England, earning a CCT in Paediatrics and Paediatric Emergency Medicine. His training spans leading London centres including St George’s, Royal London, St Mary’s, Chelsea & Westminster, and Evelina Children’s Hospital, with expertise across emergency care, critical care, trauma, neonatology, and major paediatric subspecialties. Dr. Ahmad also holds an MSc in Advanced Paediatrics from King’s College London, with a research focus on improving trauma imaging safety in children, and has published and presented his work internationally. He joins Danat Al Emarat Hospital as Head of Paediatric Emergency and Urgent Care, following his role as Head of Department at St George’s Hospital, London. In addition to his clinical leadership, Dr. Ahmad brings 15 years of senior leadership experience in the charity sector, with a strong interest in organizational development, team performance, and service improvement.
