Dr. med. Hani Eltair is a distinguished Orthopedic Surgeon with over 20 years of clinical experience and thousands of successful procedures, specializing in shoulder, knee, and hip disorders as well as sports-related injuries. He is a dual doctorate holder from Germany and Egypt and a certified shoulder and elbow surgery expert by the German Society of Shoulder and Elbow Surgery (DVSE). Dr. Eltair currently serves as a Consultant Orthopedic Surgeon with a focus on Sports Orthopedics and joint replacement surgery, and is nominated as a main operator at the Arthroplasty Center for Maximum Care (EPZ Max) in Germany, where he performs complex primary and revision joint replacements with outstanding outcomes. His surgical expertise includes advanced shoulder and knee arthroscopy, joint arthroplasty of the shoulder, knee, and hip, and cartilage restoration techniques such as Matrix Autologous Chondrocyte Transplantation (MACT). He trained at leading international institutions including the Technical University of Munich, the University Hospital of Würzburg, and Innsbruck Medical University, reflecting his strong global academic foundation. Dr. Eltair is internationally recognized for his research contributions, with multiple peer-reviewed publications and awards in reverse shoulder arthroplasty, cartilage surgery, and sports injury management, and is the editor of the textbook Elbow Arthroscopy and Minimally Invasive Surgery. He has also served as team doctor for the SVW 05 Würzburg Water Polo Team, supporting elite athletes at a professional level.
