Prof. Dr. Mohamed Abdelhafez is a renowned Consultant Gastroenterologist with over 19 years of experience and international recognition for advanced and complex endoscopic procedures. He has performed more than 30,000 endoscopies and brings German standards of excellence to the UAE, holding German board certifications in Gastroenterology and Hepatology and a Doctoral Degree in Gastroenterology. He previously served as Head of the Endoscopy Department and Functional Gastroenterology Lab at the Technical University of Munich, where he is also an Associate Professor of Medicine.
