Dr. Sherif Awad is a Consultant General Surgeon with subspecialty expertise in Bariatric, Oesophagogastric Cancer, Complex Upper Gastrointestinal and Laparoscopic Surgery. He is recognized for delivering excellent clinical outcomes and managing complex surgical cases with precision and consistency.

Dr. Awad undertakes a high volume of primary and complex revisional bariatric procedures, including Roux-en-Y gastric bypass (RYGB), sleeve gastrectomy, one-anastomosis gastric bypass (OAGB), gastric band surgery, gastric balloons, and revisional procedures such as VBG to RYGB conversion. His practice also encompasses complex benign upper GI surgery, advanced endoscopy, and participation in the general surgery emergency rota.
