Dr. Rada Moerman Mayorova

Dr. Rada Moerman Mayorova is a distinguished rheumatologist, she specializes in systemic autoimmune diseases, complex inflammatory arthritis, and advanced management of osteoporosis. Trained at the University Medical Centre Groningen (UMCG), she has extensive clinical experience at Martini Hospital Groningen, particularly in rheumatic interstitial lung diseases, pulmonary fibrosis, and pulmonary arterial hypertension. Dr. Mayorova expertise includes innovative and precision-medicine–driven treatment approaches for complex rheumatic conditions, with strong involvement in specialized expertise centres. She has a unique experience in an amyloidosis expertise centre, including diagnostic procedures such as fat tissue biopsies. Dr. Mayorova is highly skilled in musculoskeletal and salivary gland ultrasound, capillary microscopy, and articular and periarticular injections. Her PhD research on Sjögren’s syndrome has led to multiple peer-reviewed publications and continues to influence both clinical practice and autoimmune disease research, including the management of rheumatic diseases during pregnancy.
