Dr. Hira Safdar is a Canadian-trained, double board-certified Consultant Psychiatrist with nearly 20 years of clinical experience, including senior consultant practice in Canada. She specialises in women’s mental health, ADHD, OCD, psychosis, depression, and anxiety. Her approach is person-centred and holistic, integrating evidence-based psychotherapy with medication when appropriate. She is working as a Consultant Psychiatrist at Mediclinic Hospital, Dubai.

Dr. Safdar focuses on early intervention and prevention to support long-term mental wellbeing. She provides culturally sensitive and trauma-informed care tailored to individual patient needs. Her core competencies include peri- and postnatal mental health, menopause-related mental health, depressive and anxiety disorders, and stress-related conditions.
