Dr. Alaa El-Ghobashy, MD, MRCOG, is a Consultant Gynecologist and Gynecological Oncologist with subspecialty training in Gynecological Oncology from Leeds, UK. He earned his MD from the University of Liverpool in 2005 and worked as a consultant in NHS England for over 14 years. Dr. El-Ghobashy has extensive expertise in the surgical management of ovarian, uterine, cervical, and vulval cancers, as well as benign gynecological conditions such as endometriosis, fibroids, and prolapse.

He is an expert in robotic gynecological surgery, with over a decade of experience in both benign and malignant cases, and has contributed to peer-reviewed publications, book chapters, and edited two textbooks on robotic surgery. His clinical services include colposcopy, laparoscopy, hysteroscopy, management of ectopic pregnancies and miscarriages, vulval disease care, contraception, and hormone therapy. Dr. El-Ghobashy is a member of the Royal College of Obstetricians and Gynecologists, London, and serves as Associate Medical Lead for the English Lynch Syndrome Transformation Project within the Central and South Genomic Service Alliance.
