Dr. Ahmed Sharafeldin is a Consultant Interventional Cardiologist holding the Interventional Cardiologist Certificate from the German Society of Cardiology (DGK), Germany. He has extensive experience in advanced coronary interventions and has been practicing as a first and single operator since 2017.

His expertise includes diagnostic and therapeutic coronary angiography, IVUS, FFR/RFR, OCT imaging, complex coronary angioplasty, Primary PCI, rotational atherectomy, and structural heart procedures, including involvement in MitraClip programs. He also performs right heart catheterization, emergency pacemaker implantation, and cardiac device follow-up, including pacemakers, ICDs, and CRT systems.

With additional subspecialty training in Intensive Care and Emergency Medicine, Dr. Sharafeldin is highly skilled in managing acute coronary syndromes, cardiogenic shock, and post–cardiac arrest patients, including the use of IABP and Impella mechanical support systems. He is recognized for his strong clinical judgment, technical excellence, and commitment to high-quality, patient-centered cardiovascular care.
